Vaco is currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a Direct-Hire opportunity that is located in Dallas, TX 75201 (onsite 5-days a week | 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm schedules). The Business Systems Analyst is a newly created role that will support the finance and enterprise systems. The Business Systems Analyst will focus on the administration, support, enhancement, and optimization of Oracle Fusion Financials (GL / AP / FA / CM) and Oracle EPM (FCCS emphasis).

The Business Systems Analyst must possess strong troubleshooting, SQL, and documentation skills. The ideal Business Systems Analyst will bring a balanced blend of Accounting domain knowledge and technical expertise (50/50) and/or strong ERP systems experience combined with a genuine passion for Accounting processes. Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst will serve as a key liaison between Finance / Accounting teams and IT, ensuring system reliability, compliance, accurate financial reporting, and efficient close processes.

• Oracle Fusion Financials Support
  • Provide Day-to-Day Operational Support / Configurations / Enhancements for Oracle Fusion Financial Modules (GL / AP / FA / CM)
  • Troubleshoot Issues - Log Analysis / SQL (data validation) / Integration Monitoring / Reconciliation Between Systems
  • Period Close Activities - Assist in Financial Reporting / Process Improvement
• Oracle EPM / FCCS Administration
  • Support Oracle EPM / Primary Focus on FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close)
  • Manage Meta Data / Hierarchies / Consolidation Rules / Translation Rules / Close Configurations / Intercompany Eliminations / Task Workflows
  • Utilize Smart View for Excel-based Reporting / Ad-Hoc Analysis / Integration with Close/Task Manager Processes
  • Develop / Maintain Excel-based Reporting Templates / Dynamic Close Workflows
• Compliance / Security / Audit Support
  • Support ITGCs / SOX Audits / SoD Reviews / User Security Provisioning/De-Provisioning / Evidence Collection / Compliance Controls
  • Ensure Systems Adhere to Regulatory Requirements / Internal Processes
• Analysis / Documentation / Process Improvement
  • Design / Maintain Comprehensive Systems Documentation - Architectural Overviews / Integration Specs / Data Flow Diagrams / Operational Procedures
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders - Gathering Requirements / Identifying Gaps / Recommend Enhancements
  • Perform Data Analysis / Validation - Utilizing SQL (Joins / Subqueries / Complex Queries) to Support Troubleshooting / Reporting

• Business Systems Analyst (5+ years) - Enterprise Application Support / ERP/EPM Administration, etc.
• Oracle Fusion Financial Module Support (2+ years) - GL / AP / FA / CM
• Oracle EPM Support - FCCS (Metadata Management / Consolidations / Translation Rules / Close Configurations / Smart View)
• SQL (hands-on) - Joins / Subqueries / Data Validation / Troubleshooting Queries
• Smart View / Excel-based Reporting/Templates / Close/Task Manager Workflows
• Compliance Support - Supporting ITGCs / SOX Audits / SoD Reviews / User Security / Evidence Collection / Control Frameworks
• Documentation - Creating / Maintaining System Architecture Documents / Integration Specs / Data Flows / Procedures
• Accounting / Technology Background (ideally 50/50) - Experience in Finance Transformation / Oracle Cloud Implementations
