Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per year.

- Design, set up, manage, and optimize company-wide networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware, software, and services.
- Monitor network performance and integrity, ensuring high levels of data availability and network performance.
- Implement and manage network security tools, e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, including hardware and software.
- Collaborate with network architects to optimize system performance.
- Develop and implement policies for network asset management, including lifecycle management of network hardware, software, and licensing.
- Conduct training sessions to share knowledge with junior and intermediate level engineers and to improve efficiency across the team.
- Participate in on-call network support rotation.
- Work closely with other departments/organizations and collaborating with other IT staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Network Engineer in a similar role.
- Professional certification, such as CCNP, CCNA, or equivalent is required.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
- Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, FTP, SNMP.
- Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team, and excellent communication skills to explain complex network concepts in clear, non-technical terms.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Previous experience working for an ISP or a Managed Services provider is a plus.
- Experience in a NOC environment is highly desirable.
