Senior SAP MM Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant with strong functional expertise in procurement and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience across end‑to‑end MM processes, excellent client‑facing skills, and the ability to lead implementations, enhancements, and support engagements in an onshore environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support SAP MM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements.
• Configure and optimize MM processes including:
  • Procurement (PR, PO, RFQ, Outline Agreements)
  • Inventory Management and Physical Inventory
  • Vendor Master and Material Master data
  • Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, and Stock Transfers
• Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of MM with FI (AP, account determination), PP, QM, and SD.
• Support UAT, cutover activities, defect resolution, and production support.
• Prepare functional documentation including BRDs, FSDs, configuration documents, and test scripts.
• Provide functional leadership and mentoring to junior consultants.
• Participate in solution reviews and ensure compliance with SAP best practices.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in SAP MM.
• Strong knowledge of procure‑to‑pay (P2P) processes.
• Experience with pricing procedures, release strategies, and account determination.
• Solid understanding of inventory valuation and stock management.
• Strong integration experience with FI/CO, PP, QM, and SD.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience working in onshore, client‑facing roles in the US.

• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA MM.
• Exposure to global procurement and multi‑plant environments.
• Experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Knowledge of compliance and audit requirements (SOX, internal controls).

• Experience with Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) or third‑party procurement tools.
• Exposure to Ariba or other SAP procurement solutions.
• Knowledge of batch management and serial number management.
