Business Analyst​/Business Process Consultant; Project

Skyview Group, Inc. ("Skyview") is an employee-owned professional services firm that supports clients in the investment management, banking and capital markets, real estate, and insurance sectors. Skyview offers a range of integrated services across finance, accounting, tax, legal support, compliance, human resources, communications, information technology, and other back- and middle-office functions. Skyview is headquartered in Dallas and driven by a team of experienced financial services veterans.

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Business Process Consultant to partner with multiple departments to analyze existing workflows, document standardized processes, and develop comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and role-based playbooks. This is a project-based, fixed-fee engagement focused on capturing current-state operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and delivering organized, user-friendly documentation.

• Partner with department leaders to understand current workflows, systems, and challenges.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and process mapping sessions to gather accurate details.
• Translate what you learn into straightforward, well-organized SOPs and role-specific playbooks.
• Identify areas where processes can be simplified or improved and share recommendations.
• Evaluate opportunities for automation and help teams determine where tools or system changes could reduce manual work.
• Ensure all documentation is clear, consistent, and aligned with internal standards and compliance needs.
• Deliver final documentation in a clean, accessible format that can be used for onboarding, training, and day-to-day reference.
• Provide guidance on how teams should maintain and update documentation moving forward.

• Experience in business analysis, process consulting, or similar work involving workflow documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Comfortable leading conversations, gathering information from different teams, and clarifying complex topics.
• Proficient with process mapping and documentation tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
• Familiarity with building SOPs and understanding of general compliance expectations.
• Preferred certifications include Lean Six Sigma, PMP, CBAP, or similar process-focused credentials.
• Background in HR, Finance, IT, or Operations is a plus.
