UI​/UX Designer

Here at Craftable, we create best-in-class technology for world-renowned bars and restaurants. We were founded back in 2015 in Silicon Valley by tech experts and hospitality industry veterans. Our goal is to collaborate with restaurateurs, operators, and accountants to reduce labor costs, increase efficiency, and drive profit for our clients.

Our platform is built to accommodate operators from independent restaurateurs to regional and national chains.

We're looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer to create user‑centered and visually compelling designs for our platform. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our product's evolution, working on everything from user research and wire framing to visual design and prototyping. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem‑solver with a strong grasp of design principles and a passion for building robust, scalable, and user‑friendly applications.

• User Research:
  Conduct user research, surveys, and interviews to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.
• UX Design:
  Create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to design intuitive and efficient user experiences.
• UI Design:
  Develop high‑fidelity mockups and visual designs that align with our brand and product style guide.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to understand user needs, define technical requirements, and deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Code Quality:
  Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code. Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Problem‑Solving:
  Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay up‑to‑date with the latest technologies and best practices, and actively contribute to improving our development processes and tech stack.
• Scalability:
  Design and build systems that can handle a high volume of users and data, ensuring the platform remains fast and reliable as we grow.

• 4 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or a similar role.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma.
• Experience with user research, wire framing, and prototyping.
• Strong portfolio showcasing your UI/UX design work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A basic understanding of the hospitality industry and related technology is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
