Professional Services Consultant – oversee implementations and consultative engagements for Proofpoint Data Security products, including DSPM, ITM, DLP, CASB, AAC, and Proofpoint Isolation. Develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations. Ensure successful service delivery and customer success, including third‑party DLP solutions. Manage client expectations and work cross‑functionally with sales, support, engineering, and product teams.

• Scope engagements by assessing client operations, gathering functional requirements, and making recommendations to optimize Proofpoint technologies.
• Provide strategic program design solutions to protect, monitor, and manage sensitive data and people.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Support, Engineering, and Product teams to address customer concerns and manage escalations.
• Work closely with the sales organization to ensure customer needs are met and satisfaction remains high.
• Present updates to management, identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.

• 4+ years industry experience in a customer‑facing role.
• 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
• Familiarity with Data Security: DSPM, ITM, endpoint security, or cloud security concepts.
• Proficiency in Windows Server environments; experience with IIS and MS SQL is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of Linux infrastructure.
• Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions is desirable.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with confidence to engage in‑person and virtually.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion.
• English proficiency (technical and non‑technical); technical Spanish speaking skills desirable.

California (excluding SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska: $102,300 - $160,820 USD
All other cities and states: $92,100 - $144,705 USD
