Our client is a leading, global digital energy solutions organization with decades of credibility that's looking to hire a Senior Technical Product Manager/Product Owner. You will help drive innovation across software products serving the Cleantech, Energy, and Utilities sectors. You will help develop, document, and execute a comprehensive plan to understand user needs, iterate on product scope and ensure the timely development of highly complex technical products.

With the CTO, you will be responsible for giving teams the information and product methodology needed to succeed and continuously help us improve as an organization.

Responsibilities
  • Uncover and deeply understand customer needs and translate them into clear functional, non-functional, and technical product requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, engineers, architects, QA, product marketing, and business operations.
  • Ensure requirements are well understood and that implementation plans align with product expectations.
  • Research and stay current on technical and industry trends, including competitor capabilities.
  • Provide internal and customer-facing product training and enablement.
  • Support Sales and Marketing teams by answering technical product questions and articulating product capabilities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks in partnership with architecture and development teams.
  • Act as a product evangelist and subject matter expert within technical and developer communities.
  • Coordinate beta programs and define success criteria for testing and product acceptance.
  • Own and maintain high-quality product documentation.
  • Lead technical pre-sales activities, including solution demos and customer-facing presentations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in Product Engineering or Technical Product Management (or 3+ years with a Master’s degree) within Power Transmission & Distribution Automation and Control software
    .
  • 5+ years of experience working in Agile-based SDLC environments at an enterprise scale.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner.
  • Hands-on experience with Scrum, CI/CD, and Dev Ops practices.
  • Strong background in requirements gathering, aggregation, and prioritization.
  • Experience building digital and software solutions for the Electrical Power Transmission & Distribution industry.
  • Scripting or programming skills preferred.
