CDN Engineer DetailsTitle: CDN Engineer
Duration: 12 months + possible extensions
Location: Dallas, Texas
Pay: $70 - $72 per hour
Required Skills- 5+ years of experience with Akamai CDN, WAF, and Bot Manager in production environments.
- Expertise in caching configuration, CDN performance optimization, and traffic management.
- Hands‑on experience integrating Akamai with customer‑facing web applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of API security, caching policies, and routing rules.
- Strong understanding of application performance tuning and Akamai’s front‑end impact.
- Skilled at diagnosing and resolving latency or regional performance issues.
- Proficient with Akamai tools (mPulse, Ion, GTM, Control Center).
- Collaborating with development teams—able to bridge application and infrastructure needs.
- Strong communicator with leadership potential and an ownership mindset as the Akamai SME.
