Title: CDN Engineer

Duration: 12 months + possible extensions

Location: Dallas, Texas

Pay: $70 - $72 per hour

• 5+ years of experience with Akamai CDN, WAF, and Bot Manager in production environments.
• Expertise in caching configuration, CDN performance optimization, and traffic management.
• Hands‑on experience integrating Akamai with customer‑facing web applications and APIs.
• Knowledge of API security, caching policies, and routing rules.
• Strong understanding of application performance tuning and Akamai’s front‑end impact.
• Skilled at diagnosing and resolving latency or regional performance issues.
• Proficient with Akamai tools (mPulse, Ion, GTM, Control Center).
• Collaborating with development teams—able to bridge application and infrastructure needs.
• Strong communicator with leadership potential and an ownership mindset as the Akamai SME.
