Technical Project ManagerTravel:

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) leads end-to-end delivery of IT Infrastructure programs across Network (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN), Wireless, Datacenter, and Cloud environments for Teceze’s US customers. The TPM owns scope, schedule, budget, risk, governance, stakeholder management
, and coordinates multi-vendor technical teams to deliver outcomes with minimal business disruption.
This is a client-facing delivery role requiring strong technical fluency, disciplined project execution, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Own project planning and execution from initiation to closure: charter, scope, WBS, RAID, plan baseline, governance cadence.
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans
; ensure timely delivery across multiple work streams. - Run weekly/monthly governance
: status reports, executive updates, steering committee materials. - Drive change control (scope/budget/timeline), manage approvals, document decisions and impacts.
- Ensure project artifacts are complete:
HLD/LLD tracking, implementation plans, MOP/SOP, test plans, rollout/rollback plans, handover documents
.
- Manage projects such as:
- LAN refresh (switching, routing, segmentation, QoS)
- Firewall migrations / refresh (cutovers, policy validation)
- SASE / ZTNA initiatives (coordination with security teams)
- Coordinate network readiness activities:
IP plan, VLANs, routing, DNS/DHCP, NAT, BGP/OSPF, monitoring, documentation
. - Plan and execute maintenance windows
, cutovers, and post-change validation. - Wireless site surveys (predictive/active), heatmaps, capacity planning
- Wi-Fi 5/6/6E deployments, controller/cloud-managed WLAN cutovers
- Guest Wi-Fi, BYOD, and IoT connectivity coordination
- NAC/802.1X onboarding coordination with security/identity teams
- Ensure RF design, testing, and acceptance criteria are met.
- Firewall / core refresh, load balancers, network segmentation
- Storage, backup, DR, and monitoring tool rollouts
- Virtualization projects (VMware/Hyper‑V), OS lifecycle refresh programs
- Coordinate with facilities/colocation providers and vendors for delivery timelines and access requirements.
- Manage cloud migration and modernization projects:
- Hybrid connectivity (VPN/Direct Connect/Express Route)
- App & infrastructure migrations (rehost/rehydrate/refactor coordination)
- Security and compliance alignment (logging, monitoring, key management)
- Track cloud deliverables including architecture approvals, IaC readiness, and go‑live validation.
- Serve as the primary interface between customer stakeholders, Teceze delivery teams, OEMs, carriers, and subcontractors
. - Manage vendor deliverables, purchase dependencies, licensing lead times, and logistics.
- Coordinate with internal teams:
Network, Security, Cloud, Field Services, Service Desk, Procurement, Finance
.
- Maintain RAID log; proactively mitigate schedule/technical risks.
- Ensure quality gates: design review, UAT, performance validation, security sign‑off, runbooks, handover.
- Drive operational readiness: monitoring, alerting, SOPs, KT sessions, and transition to support.
- Campus LAN/WLAN refresh (switches, APs, controller/cloud WLAN migration)
- Firewall refresh/migration (policy conversion, HA validation, phased cutover)
- Datacenter network core refresh + segmentation and service migration
- Azure/AWS landing zone + hybrid connectivity + phased workload migration
- NAC deployment (802.1X, profiling, posture, phased onboarding)
- 8+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years managing infrastructure projects (Network/DC/Cloud).
- Proven experience managing multi‑site deployments and cutover‑driven infrastructure changes.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure concepts:
- Networking: LAN/WAN, routing/switching, SD‑WAN, VPN, DNS/DHCP, QoS
- Cloud: networking/IAM fundamentals, migration planning, hybrid connectivity
- Scope/WBS, dependency mapping, critical path, resource planning
- RAID management, executive reporting, stakeholder communication
- Vendor and contract/SOW management
