Title: Monitoring Engineer
Location: South Central/Northeastern Region US (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: Pay Range: $44.10-$63.00 Per HR
Description: Design, configure, and maintain monitoring solutions for applications in global markets. Collaborate with various teams to ensure monitoring tools provide actionable insights into system performance. Automate deployment of monitoring solutions using automation tools. Integrate monitoring solutions into CI/CD pipelines. Develop and maintain alerting, logging, and tracing solutions. Optimize monitoring configurations for performance and scalability. Stay updated on new monitoring technologies and advocate for improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement monitoring pipelines using generic monitoring tools.
- Automate deployment of monitoring tools using infrastructure and configuration management technologies.
- Manage configuration and version control with version control tools.
- Ensure seamless integration of monitoring solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot monitoring issues and provide root cause analysis for system incidents.
- Document monitoring architectures, automation scripts, and best practices.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automating infrastructure deployment.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and version control tools.
- Experience with configuration management for automated deployments.
- Knowledge of artifact management for package management.
- Experience configuring and managing generic monitoring tools.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using programming languages.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing monitoring and performance issues.
