We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Technical Support Manager to lead and strengthen our support operations for solar battery and microinverter products. This hybrid role is 80% remote with 20% Dallas/ Houston field work or hands‑on lab work in the Silicon Valley/San Francisco Bay Area.
Position OverviewYou’ll oversee customer‑facing tech support, lead advanced troubleshooting, work closely with engineering and training teams, and contribute to product QA and lab testing. If you're experienced with solar hardware, passionate about renewable energy, and comfortable blending remote support with on‑site technical work, we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Tier 2/3 technical support for residential battery and microinverter systems
- Coordinate with engineering and product teams to resolve escalations
- Maintain and improve support documentation and knowledge base
- Provide technical support during installations, commissioning, and field diagnostics
- Perform lab testing, validation, and product QA (20%)
- Recommend process and workflow improvements based on field insights
- Mentor support team members and help scale infrastructure
- 3–5 years of technical support or field engineering experience in solar/battery systems
- Deep knowledge of residential/commercial energy storage and inverter systems
- Hands‑on experience with system installations or lab diagnostics
- Familiarity with Zoho Desk, Zoho CRM, Slack, and tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and basic knowledge of API use or website content management
- Clear, confident communication and a solutions‑first mindset
- Based in the Silicon Valley/Bay Area with flexibility to visit our local lab or CA field sites

Compensation: $80 to $100K yearly, FLSA Status:
