Join WEX as a Data Center Operations Technician 2. You will support the installation, configuration, operation, and ongoing maintenance of hardware and software within our data center. Your role will involve monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, logging and documenting processes, and assisting with cabling, racking, and server installations.

• Monitors Authorization, Online and Web Services applications; triages and escalates issues to Manager as appropriate.
• Monitors and assists in failovers, Disaster Recovery Tests, Authorization swings, maintainances and releases, and provides communication to Technical Services and IT – Operations teams during outages or service impacts.
• Monitors infrastructure components (networks, servers, storage, databases) to ensure availability; triages and escalates issues to Manager as needed.
• Monitors and executes batch schedules to ensure compliance with customer SLAs; triages and escalates issues to Manager.
• Performs ITSM Management and works on Operations tickets as needed, including opening, monitoring, updating, escalating and closing incident, problem and change tickets.
• Performs all duties within the IT System Management framework (processes, standards, tools).
• Ensures communication to the IT Operations Manager regarding incidents that impact the Partner.
• Other assigned duties as required.

• Technical aptitude.
• Knowledge of IT System Management processes & tools; ITIL Certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Network & Data Center Operations tools (scheduling, monitoring, ticketing).
• Excellent problem isolation, analysis and resolution skills.
• Working knowledge of ITIL process and supporting procedures.
• Ability to work with people in other countries and time zones (flexibility in work hours).
• Understanding of implications of work and recommendation of solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills; ability to maintain dialogue with multiple teams regarding issue status.
• Ability to operate calmly within a complex and changing environment.
• Well organized with ability to properly manage individual workload.
• Strong work ethic and desire for a variety of challenges.

• Experience with BMC Control^M scheduler.
• Experience with FTP, SFTP, and TLS processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Knowledge of database technologies, SAN storage, and networks.
• Knowledge of Cloud Operations Model.
• AI experience.
• Ability to solve problems quickly; perform root cause analysis and develop solutions to prevent recurrence.
