Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer with 3+ years of hands‑on experience to provide on‑site technical support for end users. This role focuses on troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting enterprise desktop environments, and ensuring a high level of user satisfaction in a fast‑paced professional setting.
Key Responsibilities End-User Support- Provide Level 2 desktop support for Windows-based environments
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Support laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and AV equipment
- Deliver timely, customer-focused support to on‑site users
- Manage user accounts and permissions (Active Directory / Microsoft 365)
- Support email, collaboration, and productivity tools (Outlook, Teams, One Drive)
- Perform device imaging, deployments, and refreshes
- Troubleshoot basic networking issues (LAN/Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP)
- Support VPN and remote access connectivity
- Escalate complex network or infrastructure issues as needed
- Log, track, and resolve tickets in line with SLAs
- Maintain accurate asset records and technical documentation
- Follow IT policies, security standards, and change procedures
- 3+ years of experience in a Desktop Support / IT Support role
- Strong experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, One Drive)
- Working knowledge of Active Directory user administration, hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, peripherals), and basic networking fundamentals
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer‑service skills
- Experience with device management tools (Intune, SCCM, JAMF – advantage)
- Exposure to Windows Server environments
- IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft – preferred)
- Experience supporting users in corporate or enterprise environments
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Equivalent professional experience will be considered
- Stable, on-site role in a professional IT environment
