Azure Cloud Engineer Job Overview Responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of Azure Cloud environment. Responsibilities and Duties Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure platform Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and policies for cloud infrastructure design and operations Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, including performance bottlenecks, network connectivity, and resource contention Implement and manage Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, virtual networks (VNETs), load balancers, logic apps, functions and storage accounts Ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and services Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate cloud deployment Qualifications 3-5 years’ experience with design and administration of Azure Cloud Services Excellent understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services and infrastructure Knowledgeable in Azure Cloud Architecture, including but not limited to Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune and MDM management, VNet and Resource Groups, and Azure Virtual Network gateways Hands-on experience with core Azure services, including networking, security, storage, and identity management (Azure AD).

Creating comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and operational procedures, ensuring knowledge transfer and maintaining system integrity

Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proficiency in scripting and automation with Power Shell, Python, or Bash

Experience with Azure PaaS services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API Management

Experience with CI/CD tools, including Azure Dev Ops, Bicep or Terraform Education and Training BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate desired Microsoft Certified:
Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty desired
