Database Administrator, Data Engineer
We are a leading commercial real estate company specializing in buying, selling, developing, and managing properties. As part of our continued growth and technology modernization, we are undertaking a major transformation of our legacy systems into modern, scalable platforms. We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to play a critical role in migrating legacy databases into new systems and architectures.
This is a hands‑on build‑and‑migrate role, not a traditional “keep‑the‑lights‑on” DBA position. The ideal candidate has strong experience designing, scripting, and executing database migrations, with a focus on Azure SQL environments.
Hybrid position: in office 3x a week in Denton, Tx.
Required Skills & Experience- Hands‑on experience with Azure SQL
- Develop and maintain SQL scripts
- Lead and execute the migration of legacy databases to modern database platforms
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database deployments
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or similar ETL tools
- Experience supporting enterprise systems in finance, real estate, or asset management
