SAP QA Test Lead

This role serves as the SAP QA Lead, responsible for driving quality assurance across FS-CD, FS-RI, SAP Business Partner (BP), Workflow, and FI-GL modules. The position oversees a blended onshore/offshore team and advances test automation strategies to improve speed, coverage, and reliability.
Ideal candidates bring deep SAP module expertise and Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain knowledge
, translating business requirements into risk-based QA approaches. Key priorities include expanding automation frameworks, establishing measurable QA standards, and collaborating with stakeholders to align testing with end-to-end processes and integrations (including Guidewire and other upstream systems). Although this is a lead role, hands-on involvement is expected to meet delivery commitments within a small-team environment.

• 10 years of SAP QA Manager or Lead experience in FSCD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FiGL modules.
• Proficiency with SAP TOSCA Automation Tool and SAP Solution Manager (Sol Man).
• Ability to create new test cases, analyze failures, and independently maintain/fix test scripts.
• Strong collaboration skills to work across various SAP teams and comprehend automation requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of Business Analysis (BA) and/or Quality Analyst (QA) experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector.
• Experience in BA and/or QA application maintenance, enhancement, and Production Support in IT systems.
• Knowledge of SAP BAPI/RFC and integration experience with upstream applications, particularly Guidewire or similar Policy/Claim Administration Systems.
• Proficient in developing and reviewing test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts, and in bug/defect analysis.
• Experience with SAP ChaRM for release management and coordination with SAP BASIS teams for production deployments.
• A solid foundation in SAP and a thorough understanding of software testing life cycles.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience leading teams in an onsite-offshore working environment model.
• Knowledge of the insurance and/or reinsurance domain is a plus.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor’s Degree and above from an accredited college or university.
