We are seeking a Forward Deployment Lead/ Implementation Lead to oversee our signature project with the City of Dallas, which is set to be a national beacon for procurement and local economic development. This individual will serve as the bridge between Civic Marketplace, the City of Dallas, and participating vendors. The Implementation Lead will be responsible for project planning, execution, and successful adoption of the platform ensuring delivery of measurable value to all stakeholders.

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Civic Marketplace for the City of Dallas.

• Manage senior stakeholder relationships.

• Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.

• Coordinate with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure technical readiness.

• Act as the primary liaison between Civic Marketplace and the City of Dallas project team.

• Facilitate alignment with city leadership, procurement staff, and vendors.

• Provide clear communication, progress updates, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Lead workshops, training sessions, and onboarding for city staff and vendors.

• Gather feedback to refine processes and improve user experience.

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, legal frameworks, and transparency requirements.

• Track and analyze KPIs related to adoption, engagement, and project success.

• Identify gaps and work collaboratively to implement solutions.

• Share learnings and best practices for scaling to additional cities and agencies.

• 5+ years in project management with experience at a top consultancy, implementation, or client success, relevant project experience ideally in government technology, SaaS, or procurement.

• Strong track record of leading large-scale software or digital transformation projects.

• Exceptional communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.

• Ability to navigate public sector environments and manage diverse stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward action.

• Experience with government procurement, civic technology, or public sector consulting.

• PMP, CSM, or other project management certification.

• Familiarity with cooperative purchasing, RFQ/RFI processes, and vendor onboarding.

• Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with the ability to travel on-site as needed.
