While a Service Now Developer will definitely interact with and understand administrative aspects of the platform (like managing users, roles, and basic configurations), their primary focus in this role will be on building, customizing, and enhancing the Service Now forms and associated logic.
This role is for a Service Now Form Developer who will focus on designing, configuring, and optimizing forms and user interfaces within the Service Now platform. The goal is to enhance user experience and ensure data integrity through well-structured, dynamic forms that align with business processes. Key Responsibilities
As a Service Now Form Developer, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing and developing custom forms using Service Now Studio and Form Designer.
- Implementing client scripts, UI policies, and business rules to enhance form behavior.
- Configuring form layouts, views, and related lists to improve usability.
- Collaborating with process owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional form designs.
- Ensuring forms are accessible, responsive, and aligned with Service Now best practices.
- Performing testing, debugging, and documentation of form configurations.
- Supporting upgrades and troubleshooting form-related issues.
- Experience: 6-8 years in a relevant role.
- Essential Skills:
- Strong experience with Service Now form design and configuration.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, and UI scripting within Service Now.
- Familiarity with Service Now modules like Incident, Change, and Service Catalog.
- Understanding of Service Now data model and relationships.
- Experience with Flow Designer and low-code/no-code tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Desirable Skills:
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA).
