Responsibilities
  • Enclave operations management:
    Oversee the day-to-day operations of the secure computing environment, including access control, performance monitoring, and configuration management.
  • Vendor and service provider coordination:
    Manage relationships with third‑party vendors and service providers (Managed Service Providers (MSP)/Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP)) to ensure they meet service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Security and compliance:
    Enforce and monitor compliance with federal security regulations and frameworks, such as CMMC Level 2 and NIST SP 800‑171. Support all related audits.
  • Security monitoring and incident response: coordinate with MSSP to respond to incidents and analyze logs.
  • Technical documentation:
    Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for security audits, system configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Strategic planning and process improvement:
    Collaborate with multiple teams to streamline enclave operations, enhance productivity, and implement improvements.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration:
    Work with IT, HR, and compliance teams to support the enclave's integration with broader business functions.
Preferred Experience And Skills
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Information Security
  • Minimum 2 years managing a team of engineers and enterprise security platforms.
  • Working knowledge with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with Zero Trust Architecture and enclave segmentation
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, protocols, and best practices.
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident response, and security operations.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and support of IT technology and/or security related systems
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership and management experience
  • Experience leading large teams in a matrix management environment
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity related standards such as NIST 800‑171 and FedRAMP
  • Experience with cybersecurity system project design and implementation
  • In‑depth technical knowledge of security architectures, technologies, and best practices
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Experience managing vendor agreements and tracking service levels

    Advanced oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills to communicate with and persuade a wide range of audiences
  • Strong supervisory and matrix management skills and ability to oversee tasks delegated to others
  • Ability to manage large technology initiative with distributed teams
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT or Management
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with at least 5 years of project management experience
  • Experience leading large teams in a matrix management environment
  • Program management experience leading large programs that involve significant business change
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Experience developing and managing program budgets
  • Knowledge of business case development including cost/benefit analysis, NPV, current and future state assessments
  • Experience managing vendor agreements and tracking service levels
  • Familiarity with compliance (regulatory, SOX, etc) and governance issues
