This role leads the Information Technology (IT) team that supports the Financial and Grants Management Enterprise Resource planning (ERP) applications. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and interpreting policies, procedures, and projects to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and university policies while promoting equity. Additionally, plans and oversees complex financial and grants management IT projects, ensuring timely and cost‑effective completion. Performs operational and functional ERP tasks, including implementation, support, and documentation.
Serves as liaison between IT and campus departments to assess and meet complex technical and operational needs. Utilizes advanced technologies and clear communication to achieve goals. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
This position does not support H1B sponsorship.
Incumbent must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex.

Required
- Education
- Bachelor's Degree With major coursework in computer science, math, information systems, or other related field or High School Diploma or GED
- Experience
- 8 years Progressively responsible information technology experience with Bachelor's Degree or
- 10 years Progressively responsible and applicable information technology experience with High School Diploma and
- 4 years In supervisory or managerial role
- Manages one or more technically complex sections or divisions of Information Resources, utilizing effective management, communication, consulting, and customer service skills.
- Develops, revises, implements, recommends, and interprets policies, procedures, and complex projects for section(s) to ensure all applicable laws, governmental guidelines, and university policies are followed and that employees are treated in equitable manner.
- Manages and coordinates various complex projects and development programs for section(s) by ensuring all tasks are completed within established deadlines.
- Consults with campus departments in assessing complex technical requirements that meet needs of their operation.
- Completes work specific to assigned section using appropriate advanced technologies and effective communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
