Quality Assurance Lead – Job Details
Position Title: Quality Assurance Lead
Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA;
Strongsville, OH;
Birmingham, AL;
Dallas, TX;
Phoenix, AZ
Ability to work remote: Hybrid - 3 days in office, 2 remote
Days of the week: Mon-Fri, 40 hours
Working Hours (Flexible): 8-5pm EST core hours
Intended length of Assignment: 6 Months to hire
Contract type: Contract to Hire, W2
Function of the Group: Combination of mitigating risk, reducing costs and generating revenue.
Industry background: Banking/financial is a plus
Team Dynamic:
- Team consists of onshore and offshore QEs
- Work with crew members and collab with other crews and do cross team coordination
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and test connectivity of integrated systems and components.
- Plan end to end test scenarios and execute with integrated applications.
- Test estimation, scheduling, requirements traceability, execution and reporting results to various audiences.
- Understanding requirements and creating key test deliverables such as test strategies, plans, scripts, scenarios, and test data etc.
- Define test cases and data mappings using development documentation and requirements.
- Identify regression testing scope and coverage.
- Defect identification, reporting and ownership through to resolution.
- Contribute towards triage meetings to maximize test effectiveness particularly during execution phase.
- Lead and guide the onshore and offshore SIT team to drive successful deliverables.
- Identify the risks associated with projects and bring transparency to leadership team.
- Construct test and metadata (e.g. CSV, XML, JSON, PDF, etc.) for use within test cases.
- Create and execute manual and automated test scripts using scripting and programming languages.
- Maintain the test result documentation that assists other teams in debugging and modification of software and systems.
- Adherence to Agile methodologies, testing standards and best practices.
- Establish close working relationships with technology partners and business users.
- Plan for future releases scope, identifying partner teams readiness.
- Identify risk mitigation plan for any integration environment downtime or refresh.
- Work on test data availability from integration teams
- Responsible for Performance testing coordination
- Take up certifications/trainings to upskill as needed by the project
Level: 4; 6+ years
Must Have Technical
Skills:
- Agile Experience
- Atlassian JIRA
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams and cross-function team leadership
- Oracle/SQL
- Postman API Testing
Soft Skills: Written and Verbal communication;
Organizational
Education/
Certifications:
- Experience is more important but Bachelor's Degree is a plus
- Any Salesforce certification is a plus
