Applications Specialist

At Kongsberg PCS, we’re redefining what’s possible in digital cutting technology.

Our Multicam division is looking for an Applications Specialist — a hands‑on expert who can bring our machines to life for customers.

This is not a desk job. You’ll be in the action: setting up, programming, and operating our machines to show customers what they can really do.

Whether it’s a live demo, testing materials sent by a prospect, or making sure everything runs flawlessly at a major tradeshow, you’ll be the one who makes the technology real.

Your goal? To showcase both the hardware and software capabilities of Multicam so customers see the value and feel confident investing in our solutions.

• Demo Multicam machines for customers — onsite, in‑house, or at trade shows.
• Test customer materials to prove cutting feasibility and performance.
• Program and operate machines to highlight advanced workflows.
• Support global trade shows by preparing and operating demonstration units.
• Act as a technical guide throughout the sales process, working closely with sales and service teams.
• Provide training to customers and partners on machine use and applications.

• Experience as a machine operator/programmer — ideally with CAM programming

• Comfortable presenting to and working directly with customers.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a huge plus.
• Willing to travel occasionally for customer demos and trade shows.
• Curious, adaptable, and motivated to help customers succeed.
• Education isn’t a barrier — what matters is skill, experience, and passion.
