HYBRID / IN OFFICE:
The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing support to Company users of Company-provided information technology by configuring computers, installing software and providing other technical support as needed and for the implementation, and ongoing execution of effective technology strategies and systems supporting multiple Sales and Operations teams across the Company.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide desktop and end user support on all company applications.
  • Maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges and security.
  • Responsible for new computer configuration, software installation and license compliance, maintenance of existing workstations, equipment inventory and repair, and provide technical support to Company offices and employees.
  • Train users in learning new Company-provided applications and assist in problem-solving for application issues, coordinate user training and related activities and assistance requests for all programs.
  • Maintain records, logs and reports for Help Desk assistance requests and responses.
  • Maintain network and PC preventive maintenance logging efforts to ensure network and data integrity.
  • Create and maintain user accounts using Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, and other software packages.
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform basic networking functions including troubleshooting wired and wireless network, replacement or repair of network cabling, and related tasks.
  • Execute internal and external vulnerability scans in concert with scanning vendors.
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and consulting with vendors and clients for hardware/software purchases, product services and support.
  • Maintain compliance by patching and vulnerability remediation.
  • Functional area

    s of responsibility will directly include IT systems, Help Desk, Network Operations and Customer Support.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required; management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position at any time.
What You Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Any combination of education and training equivalent to possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, information engineering or other related areas; such education should be at a level which demonstrates the ability to perform duties comparable to those listed herein.
  • Any industry certifications related to IT systems, networking, or security, is preferred.
  • 3 + years of experience installing and supporting Microsoft server technologies; administration including system configuration, setup, troubleshooting, implementation, and user support.
  • 2 + years of experience with Power Shell and Power Shell automation.
  • 2 + years of experience with Server Patching and Vulnerability Remediation.
  • 2+ years working in settings subject to routine security audits.
  • 2+ years contributing to or directing external security audits.
  • Experience managing multiple functions in IT Systems, Network Operations, Support, Help Desk, etc.
  • Experience in developing enterprise Disaster Recovery strategies from the systems perspective.
  • Strong technical experience with IT technologies – Office 365, Windows AD, Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, etc.), email solutions, desktop solutions, and Active Directory.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a complex and changing workload.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and internal customers.
  • Knowledge of creating architecture diagrams.
  • Must be willing to document work effort on an ongoing basis.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written.
  • Flexible and adaptable to business needs.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule, including evening and weekend work when needed.
