Position: Support Engineer I
IT Support Engineer - Needed for Reliable Complex Problem Resolution

Work Type: Full-time, in-office

Compensation:

  • Support Engineer I: $50,000 - $70,000 base salary plus incentive bonuses
  • Support Engineer II: $70,000 - $100,000 base salary plus incentive bonuses

Benefits: Medical, Vision, Dental, Telemedicine, IRA w/Matching, Corporate Chaplain, Counseling Services, 8 paid holidays, 3 weeks PTO

The IT Support Engineer we are looking for is an individual dedicated to the perfection of their craft, they are consistent and reliable, and someone who takes a systematic approach to everything they do. The IT Support Engineer I will enjoy an environment filled with other team players, ready to help provide the information and mentorship you need to be successful. In this role, you will be bringing your analytical skills to the table and learning to solve complex problems. Your casual and informative nature will be a breath of fresh air to our clients as you help them resolve their requests.

Here are some specifics:

  • Providing exceptional client experience as the first interaction a client has when they reach out to Velo for assistance
  • Troubleshooting quick fix issues with client's including user access, network, and application support
  • Communicating with clients via phone, email, and messaging to resolve requests
  • Supporting client IT infrastructure by responding to alerts and alarms to manage the IT environment proactively
  • Working with Senior Engineers to advance your knowledge, skillset, and capabilities
  • Providing white-glove onsite client support for issues that require hands-on resolution, delivery of equipment, and new user orientations
  • Support Engineer I:

    Escalating issues to Senior Engineers when necessary for timely resolution
  • Support Engineer II:

    Assisting and mentoring early career Engineers and helping them develop their skillsets, problem solving, and career development
