Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead to drive our data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS Glue
, AWS Lambda
, and DBT
, and will be responsible for leading technical teams, architecting scalable data solutions, and driving transformation across the organization.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and DBT.
- Architect scalable and secure data solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, Dev Ops, and cloud architecture.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of data systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Champion change management and lead initiatives that improve data quality, accessibility, and governance.
Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS Glue
, AWS Lambda
, and DBT
. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud‑native development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Formation).
- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
- AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics).
- Experience with other AWS services like S3, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
