Position Overview

WGA Advisors is looking for a Senior Consultant in Operations and Technology Transformation for the Automotive industry. This role focuses on driving operational excellence and leveraging cutting‑edge technologies to propel automotive companies into new levels of efficiency and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational processes, digital transformation, and a deep understanding of the automotive sector’s unique challenges and opportunities.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience. $175,680 – $201,984 per year. Comprehensive benefits package, including an annual performance bonus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in operational and technology consulting, with a focus on the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of leading successful operations and technology transformation projects.
  • Deep knowledge of automotive industry trends, technologies, and operational challenges.
  • Strong proficiency in Agile project management methodologies.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the skill to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet project requirements and collaborate with client teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Transformation Initiatives:
    Lead and execute strategic transformation projects that encompass operational improvements and technology innovations within the automotive sector.
  • Operational Excellence:
    Analyze and optimize automotive manufacturing and supply chain processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
  • Technology Implementation:
    Guide the adoption of advanced technologies (e.g., IoT, AI, machine learning) to enhance operational capabilities and drive digital transformation.
  • Change Management:
    Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies, minimizing disruption and maximizing engagement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Collaborate with key stakeholders across all levels of the organization to align transformation initiatives with business goals and ensure comprehensive support.
  • Market Analysis:
    Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities in the automotive industry, informing strategic decisions and project priorities.
  • Performance Metrics:
    Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure the success of operations and technology transformation efforts, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Agile Project Management:
    Utilize Agile methodologies to manage projects, ensuring flexibility, timely delivery, and alignment with client needs.
  • Innovation Leadership:
    Act as a thought leader in operations and technology transformation, staying ahead of industry trends and technological advancements to provide clients with forward‑thinking solutions.
  • Training and Development:
    Lead training sessions and workshops to build client capabilities in new technologies and operational practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
