SummaryThe Global Mobility & HR Compliance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s global workforce operations. The role ensures adherence to immigration, tax, labor, and mobility‐related regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions. The Specialist manages the complete global mobility lifecycle—including international assignments, transfers, and relocations—with a strong focus on compliance, risk mitigation, and exceptional employee experience.
Collaboration with HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and business units is essential to harmonize mobility practices across core operations and acquired entities. The position also provides support for HR records compliance, documentation accuracy, and regulatory reporting.
This position will support our Human Resources team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. This position is based out of our North Dallas office in Dallas, TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Immigration & Work AuthorizationManage all immigration and work authorization processes for international assignments, transfers, and globally mobile new hires.
Coordinate visa, work permit, and related compliance activities with external immigration counsel.
Manage end‐to‐end global mobility cases, including relocations, expatriate assignments, transfers, repatriations, and short‑term deployments.
Provide direct support to employees and their families, including onboarding and offboarding for global moves.
Oversee relocation logistics, including vendor coordination, cost estimates, household goods movement, temporary housing, and other destination‑related support.
Monitor and ensure compliance with global tax, payroll, and social security regulations for mobile employees.
Coordinate tax briefings, tax equalization processes, and partner with internal payroll teams and external tax advisors.
Track and interpret changes in international immigration, employment, tax, and mobility compliance laws; provide timely guidance to leadership and stakeholders.
Conduct compliance risk assessments, maintain dashboards, and prepare regular mobility compliance reports.
Ensure mobility policies and practices are consistently applied across the organization, including acquired business units.
Support harmonization of mobility documentation, processes, and compliance standards.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee mobility records, case files, and compliance documentation.
Support HR compliance activities, including I‑9/E‑Verify, regulatory reporting, and audit support.
Assist in process updates, SOP creation, and improvements to mobility and HR compliance workflows.
Provide guidance and training to employees, managers, and HR partners on mobility requirements and compliance obligations.
Deliver mobility briefings and ensure consistent understanding of compliance risks.
Support internal audits, HR compliance reviews, and remediation actions.
Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, or related field is preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant professional experience is required.
2-4 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, HR compliance, or related roles.
Experience managing mobility cases, vendor relationships, and cross‑border employee support.
Experience supporting HR audits, records compliance, or I‑9/E‑Verify processes.
