The HR Data Analyst (Temporary) will support the HR team by cleaning, validating, and correcting employee and position data within Oracle Fusion HCM. Working under HR direction, this role will use audit reports and established HR data standards to identify discrepancies and implement accurate corrections to improve data integrity, reporting reliability, and organizational accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, validate, and correct employee and position records in Oracle Fusion HCM based on HR guidance and defined standards.
- Work from HR audit reports to identify and resolve data issues, including:
- Data inconsistencies and missing fields
- Duplicate employee/position records
- Reporting line / supervisory hierarchy errors
- Incorrect job/position attributes or assignments
- Perform detailed data reviews, root-cause checks, and verification to ensure updates are accurate and complete.
- Use advanced Excel to analyze datasets, reconcile discrepancies, and track remediation progress (e.g., pivots, lookups, conditional logic, data validation).
- Document changes, maintain cleanup logs, and provide regular status updates (volume completed, open issues, trends, and risks).
- Partner with HR stakeholders to clarify data standards, resolve exceptions, and elevate complex or ambiguous records for direction.
- Follow data privacy and confidentiality requirements while handling employee information.
- Prior experience cleaning and maintaining HRIS/HCM data (Oracle Fusion preferred; People Soft, Workday, or UKG acceptable).
- Strong ability to detect and resolve data quality issues (duplicates, mismatched fields, hierarchy/reporting errors, incomplete records).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- High attention to detail with strong quality control and validation habits.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a structured, high-volume environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting work and coordinating with HR.
- Direct experience in Oracle Fusion HCM data maintenance and/or HR master data governance.
- Experience working with HR audit reports, HR data dictionaries/standards, and structured remediation processes.
- Familiarity with HR data elements such as positions, job codes, departments, cost centers, and supervisory organizations.
On-site role requiring consistent in-office presence in Dallas, TX.
Handles confidential employee information and must maintain strict discretion.
Temporary assignment supporting a defined data cleanup effort under HR leadership.
