HR Manager, Employee Relations, Talent Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
High Profile has partnered with a prestigious global investment firm to identify a Human Resources & Payroll Manager to support core HR operations and payroll administration. This is an in-office role located in the Uptown area of Dallas, with the potential for a hybrid schedule over time.
This position is well-suited for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys owning day-to-day HR processes, managing payroll across multiple regions, and serving as a trusted internal resource for employees and leadership.
The Human Resources & Payroll Manager will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS management, and U.S. and international payroll. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance, supporting employees, and helping foster a positive, values-driven workplace culture.
Human Resources
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes
- Administer health and welfare benefit plans, including open enrollment
- Counsel employees on benefit options and resolve benefits-related issues by working with brokers and carriers
- Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution on HR-related concerns
- Maintain and manage the HRIS system, including employee data, new hire setup, and orientations
- Oversee immigration and visa programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Collect, analyze, and report HR metrics to support leadership decision-making
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact in the absence of senior HR leadership
- Act as a culture carrier, promoting integrity, teamwork, excellence, and a positive work environment
Payroll
- Oversee payroll administration for U.S. and European employees
- Ensure compliance with payroll-related tax regulations, labor laws, and reporting requirements
- Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required (GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Human Resources and Payroll
- Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion and sound judgment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven project management abilities with experience balancing multiple high-priority initiatives
- Knowledge of benefits administration, payroll operations, immigration processes, and employee relations strongly preferred
- Positive, engaging, and professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
