Position Overview

The bilingual HR Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting the efficient operations of our Human Resources department. In addition to handling a variety of administrative tasks, the successful candidate will manage key aspects of our onboarding process. This includes processing new hire paperwork to ensure that every new candidate experiences a seamless transition into our organization. This is an onsite position in the Dallas, TX area (

Job Duties

  • HR Administration & Records Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
  • Perform periodic audits of HR files to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all HR information.
  • Employee & Applicant Assistance
  • Provide prompt and knowledgeable answers to frequently asked questions from applicants and employees regarding standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes.
  • Refer any inquiries to senior HR staff as needed.
  • New Hire Paperwork: Process all new hire documentation accurately and in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Onboarding Coordination: Coordinate and schedule new employee orientation sessions, including facility tours, benefits overviews, and initial IT setup meetings, ensuring a smooth transition from candidate to employee.
  • Candidate Experience: Serve as the primary point-of-contact for candidates and new hires, guiding them through the hiring process, addressing their questions, and facilitating a seamless onboarding journey.
  • Follow-Up & Support: Track pending documentation and proactively follow up with new hires to ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed before the start date.
  • May assist with payroll processing, address employee inquiries, and resolve processing errors.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers, including health, disability, and retirement plan vendors.
  • Event Planning & Special Projects
  • Assist with the planning and execution of HR events such as benefits enrollment sessions, employee recognition events, company meetings, and holiday celebrations.
  • Support any other HR projects or administrative duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Experience & Education:
  • A minimum of 3 years in an HR specific role or related HR administrative experience, preferably within the construction industry.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Language & Communication:
  • Must be bilingual with fluency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in various states.
  • Technical & Organizational Skills:
  • Experience processing I-9 documentation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with payroll management systems, HRIS, or similar computer applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under stressful situations.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel as required.
