Therapist - PRN - Dallas

Meadows Behavioral Healthcare is hiring a PRN Therapist in Dallas. This role involves direct patient care, case coordination, and collaborative treatment planning for assigned clients.

• Assess, coordinate, and plan discharge for assigned patients.
• Conduct individual, family, specialized, and group psychotherapy.
• Document all assessment, treatment, and discharge activities in the medical record.
• Provide specialized therapy services (Family, Equine, Art, EMDR, SE) as required.
• Assist in compiling materials for group and educational sessions and maintain the schedule.
• Participate as an active member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, communicating clinical concerns and recommendations.
• Actively participate in performance improvement activities per facility licensure and accreditation.
• Provide on‑call coverage as requested.
• Interact and communicate professionally, respond to customer requests, and work as a member of a team.

• Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
• State licensed therapist; doctoral candidates must apply for a psychologist license upon hire.
• CPR & First Aid certified.
• CPI certified.
• Valid driver’s license and Driver Safety Training.
• Minimum two years of experience in behavioral health (preferred).
• Experience with specialty services (Trauma, Chemical Dependency, Eating Disorders) within a managed care environment is preferred.
• Experience providing Family Therapy, EMDR, sex addiction or other trauma specialty therapy is preferred if assigned to specialized therapy.
