Joule is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Clinical Rater to join our client’s clinical research team on a part-time, PRN (as needed) basis. This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy contributing to meaningful research while maintaining flexibility.

As a Clinical Rater, you’ll play a critical role in conducting and interpreting psychiatric and psychometric assessments for participants enrolled in clinical trials focused on CNS and psychiatric disorders.

• Administer and score psychiatric and psychometric assessments
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and clinical evaluations for studies involving Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, ADHD, Alzheimer’s Disease, and other CNS-related conditions
• Collaborate closely with Principal Investigators, Research Coordinators, and study teams
• Ensure accurate, timely, and complete source documentation and data entry
• Monitor participants for adverse events or changes in clinical status
• Provide clear instructions to study participants and answer assessment-related questions
• Support study reports and presentations with clinical assessment insights

• Master’s degree required in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Psychometrics, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
• Doctoral degree preferred (PhD, PsyD, or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience administering and scoring psychiatric rating scales
• Experience across a range of psychiatric disorders
• Prior experience in clinical research or clinical trials
