Recovery Specialist

Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for a Revenue Recovery Specialist. The Revenue Recovery Specialist will be responsible for analyzing unpaid claims to identify reimbursement opportunities, submitting appeals for denied claims, researching payer policies and guidelines, performing follow-ups with insurance companies, and maintaining detailed records of recovery activities. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to optimize revenue recovery and provide prompt resolution of billing issues.

• Analyze unpaid claims to identify reimbursement opportunities.

• Maintain detailed records of recovery activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimize revenue recovery and resolve billing issues promptly.

• Proficiency in data analysis, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical claims processing, payer policies, health insurance, and billing practices
• Experience in account management, communication, and building relationships with insurance providers
• Familiarity with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
• Ability to work efficiently in an on-site, team-oriented environment
• Critical thinking and organizational skills to track and manage claim processes
• Healthcare experience or billing certifications are a plus
• Strong competency in computer skills and familiarity with claim management software
