Overview

Registered Respiratory Therapist – Pediatric – Travel assignment in Dallas, Texas. 13‑week contract. 3 days x 12 hours per week. Pay $2,251–$2,320 per week.

• Asses, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Deliver respiratory care in emergency, intensive care, and general patient areas.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment such as ventilators and oxygen supply devices.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, educate patients and families, and perform regular assessments of both patients and equipment.
• Respond to emergency situations requiring immediate respiratory care and participate in patient care conferences and professional development activities.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with 1 year of pediatric experience.
• Current RT‑TX license.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS‑AHA; PALS‑AHA.
• Strong understanding of respiratory care techniques, ability to work well under pressure, and excellent communication skills for working with young patients and families.
