This is a contract role for an Equine‑Assisted Therapist located on‑site in the Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex. The responsibilities include designing and implementing equine‑assisted therapy programs, facilitating therapy sessions, ensuring the safety and well‑being of clients and horses, and assessing client progress to support emotional and mental health outcomes. The therapist will also collaborate with the team to create individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate therapy session documentation.

• Experience in equine‑assisted therapy, including working with and understanding horse behavior
• Licensure or certification in mental health therapy, such as LPC, LCSW, or equivalent
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices for working with clients and animals
• Ability to design and implement therapy plans tailored to individual client needs
• Previous experience in mental health counseling is a plus
• Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
