Job Title

Female Caregiver for Client

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female caregiver to provide personalized support to a female client living with early stages of Alzheimer's disease. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals and redirecting the client and a strong commitment to improving the client’s quality of life. This role requires someone who is reliable, patient, and sensitive to the client's needs in an apartment setting.

Position

Details
  • Schedule: 2-3 shifts per week, 7PM – 7AM
  • Pay: $15–$17 per hour (based on experience), paid weekly
  • Location: North Dallas
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Provide personal care, emotional support, and companionship to enhance the client’s well-being
  • Safely assist with client transfers
  • Calmly redirect and manage behaviors when the client becomes combative or agitated
  • Follow a detailed care plan and maintain the client’s daily routine
  • Document and write detailed care notes after each shift
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Requirements
  • Female caregiver (due to client preference)
  • Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or related fields
  • Experience with Hoyer lift
  • Experience working with Alzheimer’s disease or similar neurological conditions is required
  • Strong written communication skills for accurate care documentation
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a commitment to respecting the client's dignity
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Previous caregiving experience in long-term care, hospice, or disability support
  • Ability to monitor basic health and make appropriate observations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
