Job PostingTitle:
Ambulatory Care Program Coordinator
Location:Dallas - Hospital

- 4:30 p.m.
- Coordinates the design, build, modification, and maintenance of provider scheduling templates in Epic system
- Ensures scheduling templates comply with organizational standards, provider contracts, clinic workflows, and Epic system best practices
- Manages template changes related to provider onboarding, departures, schedule adjustments, leave coverage, and clinical programs/initiatives
- Monitors template accuracy and proactively identifies gaps affecting access, utilization, or patient flow
- May assist with design, maintenance, and optimization of scheduling decision trees in Epic system
- Maintains, monitors, and adjusts space-allocation assignments for clinics in room scheduling system
- Provides administrative and department support to designated leader(s), including calendar management and prioritization of competing schedule demands
- May prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and support materials for designated leader(s)
- May support special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc requests as assigned by leadership
- May assist with maintenance and approval of payroll and PTO as assigned by leadership
- Abides by organizational and HIPAA guidelines and privacy practices
- Supports and promotes hospital and departmental performance improvement goals
- Ensures quality care through compliance with departmental and organizational policies and guidelines, and external agency guidelines, standards, or regulations
- Supports departmental initiatives and change efforts
- Practices financial and resource stewardship
- Engages in strong communication, acts as team player in supporting mission and vision of organization, and abides by organization’s core values
- Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion when handling sensitive information
- Additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 2-years’ experience in medical office or healthcare setting required
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Management of provider templates in Epic preferred
- Experience with scheduling decision trees in Epic preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required
