** Duties/Responsibilities
*** Coordinates the design, build, modification, and maintenance of provider scheduling templates in Epic system
* Ensures scheduling templates comply with organizational standards, provider contracts, clinic workflows, and Epic system best practices
* Manages template changes related to provider onboarding, departures, schedule adjustments, leave coverage, and clinical programs/initiatives
* Monitors template accuracy and proactively identifies gaps affecting access, utilization, or patient flow
* May assist with design, maintenance, and optimization of scheduling decision trees in Epic system
* Maintains, monitors, and adjusts space-allocation assignments for clinics in room scheduling system
* Provides administrative and department support to designated leader(s), including calendar management and prioritization of competing schedule demands
* May prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and support materials for designated leader(s)
* May support special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc requests as assigned by leadership
* May assist with maintenance and approval of payroll and PTO as assigned by leadership
* Abides by organizational and HIPAA guidelines and privacy practices
* Supports and promotes hospital and departmental performance improvement goals
* Ensures quality care through compliance with departmental and organizational policies and guidelines, and external agency guidelines, standards, or regulations
* Supports departmental initiatives and change efforts
* Practices financial and resource stewardship
* Engages in strong communication, acts as team player in supporting mission and vision of organization, and abides by organization’s core values
* Maintains confidentiality and exercises discretion when handling sensitive information
* Additional duties as assigned#
** Required Skills/Abilities
*** High school diploma or equivalent required
* Bachelor’s degree preferred
* Minimum 2-years’ experience in medical office or healthcare setting required
* Experience with Microsoft Office required
* Management of provider templates in Epic preferred
* Experience with scheduling decision trees in Epic preferred
* Strong written and verbal communication skills required
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required#
