The Environmental Services Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the hospital. They ensure all assigned areas are cleaned and disinfected according to established procedures and schedules.

• Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors
• Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a safe and sanitary manner
• Dust and damp mop floors, clean windows, and vacuum carpets as needed
• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Follow infection control and safety procedures

Applicants should possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
