Position: Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health - Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Position

Angels of Care currently has opportunities for part-time or full-time certified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP).

We are a clinician-owned and operated home health agency with experienced staff serving the special needs community. Pay Range: $52,200 - $156,000 + $2,500 sign-on bonus

Job Description

A certified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will implement treatment programs to assist pediatric patients with cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional disabilities and delays by planning and administering speech therapy services in the home and community.

Requirements
  • ASHA certification
  • Texas State SLP License
  • Current CPR certification
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care, perform evaluations, develop goals, and create treatment plans in conjunction with physicians.
  • Assist pediatric patients in developing or regaining cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning, maximizing their potential.
  • Educate and empower caregivers and families to carry over therapeutic activities into daily routines.
  • Coordinate with referral partners to provide services per physician orders.
  • Design and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs for continued therapy post-discharge.
  • Document patient care and care coordination in electronic medical records.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality.
