PRN Surgical Tech

H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery in Dallas is looking for a PRN Surgical Technician. This position is typically Thursday and Friday shifts.

Handles instruments, supplies, assists in circulating, and provides necessary equipment during the surgical procedure. Monitors conditions in the operating room and constantly assesses the needs of the patient and surgical team.

• Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure.
• Sets up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure.
• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon during procedure.
• Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field.
• Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization.
• Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of the room.
• Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient.

• Plastics experience in a private office setting preferred.
• Surgical Technologist Certification preferred.
• First assist experience preferred.
• Confident and skilled.
• Knowledge in sterilization and processing.
• At least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred.
