Works under general supervision to perform a variety of serological, bacteriological, hematological, biochemical, and related tests and procedures in research or clinical laboratory. This position is for a Fertility/IVF laboratory andrology and endocrine technician. Daily duties include semen analysis, sperm cryopreservation, semen preparation for IUI/IVF/ICSI, running steroid hormone assays on a Roche Cobas e411 analyzer and daily/weekly/monthly QA/QC. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Training is available for suitable candidates.

- Education Bachelor's Degree with major coursework in basic science or ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Technician and no experience required.
- Conducts basic and routine laboratory work in varied areas of chemistry, biology, physics, and other biomedical or related scientific fields.
- Constructs, assembles, operates, and maintains laboratory apparatus and equipment.
- Records and evaluates data in accordance with prescribed methods.
- Prepares specimens for quantitative and qualitative analysis; identifies and labels all specimens to be retained.
- Maintains cleanliness in work area.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
