Overview
Head of Speech‑Language Pathology – Director of Clinical Operations at the Callier Center for Communication Disorders, Dallas, Texas. Full‑time, regular position with competitive salary range $100,000‑$120,000, paid monthly.
Responsibilities- Oversee all clinical service activities in the Center’s Speech‑Language Pathology program, including continuous quality management.
- Coordinate and participate in clinical teaching with the Director of Clinical Education for UT Dallas Speech‑Language Pathology students.
- Manage a team of 10 clinical Speech‑Language Pathologists at two clinic locations; oversee scheduling, insurance, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Facilitate student and faculty research requiring patient recruitment in the clinic.
- Participate in clinical research and clinical innovation within the Center.
- Participate in fundraising and grant writing with the Center’s Development team.
- Serve as an ambassador for speech‑pathology services to the community.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or closely related field.
- Current Texas license in Speech‑Language Pathology (or ability to obtain by hire date).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP) from the American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association.
- Eight (8) years of progressive clinical experience as a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist, including at least three (3) years as the direct supervisor of other licensed clinicians.
- Preferred:
Nine (9) years of clinical experience;
Three (3) years of progressively responsible leadership or administrative experience.
