We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team at Medical City Healthcare in Dallas. This PRN role offers flexibility and an opportunity to work within one of the nation's leading healthcare providers.
Job SummaryAs an Ultrasound Technician, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams, review image quality, assist referring physicians, and maintain safe, accurate equipment handling. You will also provide patient education on the procedure and maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Analyze sonographic images and produce clear, accurate report forms.
- Collaborate with physicians and other team members to discuss findings.
- Maintain equipment, calibrate machines, and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Document patient information and imaging results in the health‑record system.
- Adhere to safety and infection‑control standards.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credentialed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Associate Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification (obtained within 30 days of start).
- PRN availability for elective and urgent imaging needs.
