About the Role

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will play a key role in providing high‑quality outpatient psychiatric care to patients in our Dallas clinic. This primarily in‑office position allows for strong therapeutic relationships, direct collaboration with our clinical team, and continuity of care within a supportive environment.

Dallas, TX | Outpatient Role

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental status exams, and risk assessments
  • Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive counseling
  • Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and medical staff to coordinate care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and quality‑improvement initiatives
  • Deliver patient‑centered care aligned with evidence‑based psychiatric practice
  • Work onsite in our Dallas clinic
Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current Texas APRN license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Board certification as a PMHNP-BC
  • Active DEA registration or eligibility
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in outpatient psychiatry, behavioral health, or integrated care
  • Comfort treating a variety of psychiatric diagnoses across the lifespan (or specific population)
  • Strong therapeutic communication skills
  • Bilingual proficiency (English + another language)

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical assessment capabilities
  • Expertise in psychopharmacology and evidence‑based treatment
  • Ability to provide supportive counseling and psychoeducation
  • Excellent communication and therapeutic relationship‑building
  • Ability to manage complex cases and coordinate multidisciplinary care
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered psychiatric practice
