Overview
Are you passionate about fostering a safe and compliant work environment? We’re seeking a dedicated Regional Environmental Health Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and implement our safety policies and programs, ensuring a secure and efficient workplace for all employees. You ll work closely with the HR Generalist and other team members to maintain high standards of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities- Program Management: Develop, implement, and manage environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs and policies to promote a safe working environment.
- Compliance and Audits: Conduct regular audits of EHS programs to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations. Identify areas for improvement and ensure corrective actions are effectively executed.
- Training and Development: Lead safety training sessions to enhance employee awareness and adherence to best practices in safety.
- Inspection and Investigation: Create and enforce inspection policies, coordinate corrective actions, and assist in initial investigations of safety incidents.
- Safety Metrics: Track, analyze, and report on safety performance and goals. Use data to drive improvements and inform decision-making.
- Document Control: Manage and distribute controlled documents, ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Committee Leadership: Oversee the safety committee, set objectives, and drive initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
- Site Leadership: Act as a safety ambassador on site, providing guidance and support to employees on safety-related matters.
- Education: High School diploma required; degree in a safety-related field preferred.
- Certifications: OSHA 30-hour certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and EHS-related software.
- Project Management: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of interacting effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work well with diverse groups and drive collaborative efforts.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Frequent: Sitting, walking, standing, and hand manipulation.
- Occasional: Bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
