Ultrasonographer – Women’s Care – Full-Time, Days

Work location:

8160 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 116, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours:

Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Here’s What You Need
  • Associates Degree in Ultrasound Technology or graduate of an accredited program (required)
  • Completion of RDMS certification (required) and ARDMS certification upon hire (required)
  • 2 years OB/GYN related experience (required)
Specific to OB/GYN
  • Experience performing gynecological and obstetrical sonograms covering normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy
  • Fetal anatomy and biophysical profile expertise
  • Fetal anomalies, including ectopic pregnancies
  • Proficiency in transabdominal and endovaginal scanning techniques
  • Ability to identify expected views in all three trimesters of pregnancy
  • Comfortable verbally explaining techniques and views to physician and patient
  • Strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
What You Will Do
  • Deliver care to patients utilizing the Ultrasonographer Process
  • Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate and record critical functional, pathological and anatomical data
  • Prepare room for examination, greet patients, and educate patients on procedural information as needed
  • May schedule and coordinate tests
  • Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, and troubleshoot as needed
  • Properly record test results
  • Operate, care for, and maintain equipment
  • Maintain operational logs and document malfunctions as needed
  • Maintain room to sanitary standards
  • Stock and order supplies as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
