We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead workplace safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety across operations. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish and hold multiple OSHA certifications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Train employees and contractors on safety protocols, emergency response, and hazard recognition.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for audits.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and insurance providers.
- Promote bilingual safety communication to support diverse teams.
- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- OSHA Certifications (Active):
- OSHA 10‑Hour (Construction or General Industry)
- OSHA 30‑Hour (Construction or General Industry)
- OSHA 500 (Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction)
- OSHA 501 (Trainer Course in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry)
- OSHA 510 (Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction)
- OSHA 511 (Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry)
- 5+ years of safety management experience in construction/manufacturing/oil & gas/general industry – specify.
- Proven track record in reducing incidents and achieving compliance.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or equivalent.
- Experience with safety management software (e.g., Intelex, Cority).
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
