- Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or Associate degree preferred.
- Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
- 1-year radiologic technician experience without ARRT – CT required or No experience with ARRT – CT required.
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required.
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic, CT, without radiology technician experience upon hire.
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, with 1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire.
- CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire.
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
- Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family member prior to exam.
- Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
- Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
- Correctly send and transfer images to PACS.
