Job Description
In this highly technical, fast‑paced, and challenging position, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the best care for our patients. You will serve as Research Coordinator 2, coordinating all phases of the research process, including approval processes, data collection, patient follow‑up, and tracking.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or Medical Assistant in relevant discipline
- RN degree preferred
- Medical Assistant Certification, and/or a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) required
- LVN or RN license preferred
- 2 or more years of related experience
- Available to sponsor monitors upon study site visits
- Follow patients throughout study
- Maintain statistical information
- Follow all FDA, IRB, and other agency regulations
- Initiate and maintain IRB regulations, including completing required documentation
- Coordinate all phases of assigned clinical trials, ensuring protocol compliance
- Collect, interpret, and report all clinical data
- Maintain drug inventory
- Prepare charts for clinic and pull charts prior to clinic visits
- Organize data pertinent to clinic visits
- Complete case report forms
- Attend regular meetings with physicians and research staff to update on study progress
- Track lab results and obtain final results for review
- Triage all phone calls for patients, considering treatment status
- Assist with writing protocols
- Perform study‑related procedures such as lab processing
- Develop a working knowledge of disease processes under study
- Perform rating scales and/or tools under investigation
- Communicate clearly and openly
- Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
- Be accountable for performance and seek ways to improve patient experience
- Take initiative for professional growth and build a winning team
